Wise has had 101 days of "paw-some" learning! We celebrated by dressing up in black and white like the one hundred and one dalmatians!


Today Wise celebrate the 100th day of school! Many students and teachers dressed up as if they were 100 years old! Check social media for more photos!


Reminder: Spring Book Fair is coming at the end of this month! February 27 - March 3!


Let's celebrate the 100th and 101st day of school! Monday, February 6th will be the 100th day, and Tuesday, February 7th will be 101st day.


Title I Information Night for parents of Kindergarteners and First graders will be held Tuesday, Feb. 7th from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Second and third grade families will meet on Thursday, February 9th from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
Parents will learn how assessments are conducted, strategies to help children at home, and other strategies to help students succeed.



Update: All schools now have electricity and classes are running at their normal schedule. We are pleased to be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for our students to learn and grow.

Classes at Wise Elementary have been canceled for today, Feb. 3, due to the ongoing power outage. All other CHISD campuses will remain open and classes will run at their normal times.

Several district facilities continue without power. The district will be communicating at 7 p.m. today, Feb. 2, with the latest information on how the power outage will impact school operations tomorrow, Feb. 3.

Out of an abundance of caution and to support safe travel, all CHISD schools will begin classes with a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 2.

District authorities have been carefully observing the weather and have determined that it is safe for students, families, and buses to travel home as scheduled, with caution.
We will assess the weather overnight and make a decision for tomorrow, Feb. 1, based on the safety of all. Any updates will be communicated before 7 p.m. tonight, Jan. 31.
