A big round of applause to the Chapel Hill High School Honors Band! Today, they absolutely nailed it at the Region 21 UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest👏. All six judges agreed that they were an exceptional band, earning them first divisions🏆.
Congrats to our High School honors band. They participated in the Region 21 UIL concert and sightreading contest. Along with our other two HS bands earning 1st divisions, ALL 6 judges agreed that this was a superior band and gave them all 1st divisions. This has been a record setting year for our band program, and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments. Way to go Bulldog Band.
Six Weeks 5 ends today. We will hand out, and upload into skyward, report cards next Thursday.

Shout out to our wonderful Freshman Seminar teacher, Jennifer Carmichael. Students are learning Cnotes and using AVID strategies while exploring the Engineering pathway in the Academy of Technology and Engineering!
Freshman Academy allows students to explore all 14 career pathways at Chapel Hill High School. Students participate in a variety of hands on learning and take an in-depth aptitude test to discover their strengths. At the end of their Freshman year, students will choose one of three career academies offered at Chapel Hill High School.
