A free social media safety course will be available to Chapel Hill parents and legal guardians on Thursday, Feb. 16. The two-hour course starts at 6 p.m and will be held at the Chapel Hill Junior High School.
The training will be led by Detective Tim McDonald and is designed to educate parents about the potential dangers and risks associated with social media usage, and provide tips and strategies for keeping children safe online.
Detective McDonald is a highly experienced and knowledgeable expert in the field of online safety.
Spanish translation services will be available for those who need it and no pre-registration is required.
