In an effort to ensure the academic success of their 3rd-grade students, Jackson Elementary School will host a special STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) Night, bringing parents and students together for an informative and engaging evening. The event, to be held on October 25, 2023, will provide parents with valuable insights into the STAAR testing process, including test formats, preparation strategies, and key dates. Teachers and staff at Jackson Elementary will offer guidance on how to support their children's academic growth and success.
This event will not only encourage academic excellence but also strengthen the bond between parents, students, and the school community. Jackson Elementary staff believe that they are fostering that partnership to ensure their 3rd graders excel academically. Instructional coach Amy Mata said, “Parents and Guardians of our 3rd grade students are invited to join us for a night of information and tips from our tested area teachers to help your students succeed on the STAAR Test. We hope to see you there!"
STAAR Night at Jackson Elementary exemplifies the school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education and fostering a supportive learning environment for its students.
