The award-winning Chapel Hill Highlighters Drill Team is under the direction of Allyson Maranitch.  The Highlighters are a group of talented dancers in grades 9-12 from Chapel Hill High School.  The Highlighters bring with them the tradition of excellence and prestige from winning National Championships to dazzling audiences with their halftime performances and spring shows since their creation in 1970.  The Highlighters have enjoyed many exciting opportunities to compete in Santa Fe, New Orleans, San Antonio, Denton, and Galveston to name a few.  They've also traveled to New York City, Disney World, performed aboard the Carnival Triumph, and performed at Disneyland in California.
