Chapel Hill, Smith County- Chapel Hill Independent School District (CHISD) is pleased to announce the second annual Family Financial Fun Night in partnership with Southside Bank. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, for Kindergarten through sixth-grade students and their families at Kissam Intermediate’s gymnasium.
Family Financial Fun Night focused on financial literacy and engaging learning activities. Students have already received registration forms for the event. Students may return the form to their teachers or bring the registration form with them to the event.
"Families can look forward to an evening of fun, complete with pizza and interactive activities and games providing tips on investing, budgeting, saving, and earning income. In addition to the educational experience, families will also have the chance to win exciting prizes," said Ellie Perez, Parent and Family Engagement Coordinator for the District.
The District recognizes the need to provide students and families with engaging and memorable opportunities for learning, thus building a strong foundation in financial literacy.
“Southside Bank, as a dedicated partner in our community, initiated this collaborative effort, and we are extremely proud to work alongside them,” said Perez.
