Chapel Hill, Smith County – Chapel Hill High School Senate proudly presents the 27th annual Coats and Kicks event. Formerly known as Shoes for Kids, this tradition has expanded to provide both shoes and coats to children in need, making a significant impact on the community.
Last year the initiative, which began in 1996, impacted 175 students, raising $9,000 in funds. This collaborative initiative embodies the spirit of unity, demonstrating how communities can come together to make a difference.
Take action today:
Drop your spare change or larger donations in the designated collection containers at the front offices of all our campuses.
Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to contribute and multiply the impact.
Spread the word on social media using #CoatsAndKicks, encouraging others to participate in this initiative.
The deadline for donations is November 15 at 9 a.m.
The District extends heartfelt thanks to Shoe Dept. Encore, Cici’s Pizza, Times Square Grand Slam, and Discovery Science Place for their continued support. Their contributions, alongside the collective efforts of the student senate and the community, are instrumental in making Coats and Kicks a success.
