The Education Agency in the state of Georgia released a targeted school improvement list. A TikTok account got a hold of the document and re-posted it to give the appearance of a “Targeted School Violence List.” This is false information. The Education Agency list mentions a Chapel Hill Elementary and Middle School. These are not within this district and are in the state of Georgia. Once again, this is a targeted school improvement list. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your campus directly.
Although the misinformation is not associated with our district, please know that we have police officers at each of our campuses , and our chief of police and campus administrators are diligent with monitoring daily operations to ensure the safety and well being of our schools.
Bulldogs Will Never Forget 9/11: On September 11, Patriot Day gives all of us time to reflect on the devastating terror attacks that took nearly 3,000 lives. We commemorate those who we lost and give thanks to the brave first responders who put their lives on the line.
