Tyler, Texas - Chapel Hill Independent School District (CHISD) is pleased to announce the second annual Family Financial Fun Night in partnership with Southside Bank. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, for Kindergarten through sixth-grade students and their families at Kissam Intermediate’s gymnasium.
Family Financial Fun Night focused on financial literacy and engaging learning activities. Students have already received registration forms for the event. Students may return the form to their teachers or bring the registration form with them to the event.
"We are excited to partner with Southside Bank to host our 3rd Annual Family Financial Fun Night. The event aims to educate Chapel Hill ISD students and their families about the importance of financial literacy through engaging activities so they are equipped to make informed decisions about their money. We look forward to having fun with our families," said Julie Fowler, K-12 Math & Science Coordinator for the district.
The District recognizes the need to provide students and families with engaging and memorable opportunities for learning, thus building a strong foundation in financial literacy.
“Southside Bank, as a dedicated partner in our community, initiated this collaborative effort, and we are extremely proud to work alongside them,” said Fowler.
