HOMECOMING

Tyler, Texas — Chapel Hill Independent School District is hosting their sixth annual homecoming parade on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 6 p.m. to kick off homecoming week. This spectacular event promises an evening of excitement, school spirit, and entertainment for all ages.

The parade will kick off near the Kissam Intermediate School driveway, traveling down Hwy. 64 East and County Road 215. The parade ends at the Bulldog Stadium, where a community pep rally will take place at 7 p.m.

“The annual homecoming parade/pep rally is one of my favorite things we host all year. It is a time for the whole community to come together and celebrate being a CH Bulldog! Having floats from the different campuses and organizations allows many to be a part of it. We encourage the community to come out and watch the parade, followed by the pep rally at the stadium where we will have five local food trucks. This is the best way to kick off homecoming week!” said Tracy Steele, Homecoming Parade Coordinator

The parade floats and entries are all from district departments, as this is an opportunity to showcase what the district has to offer. There will be food trucks at the stadium following the parade. The options include Jalisciense, Kalesa House, Kona Ice, Pokey O's and ETX Lemonade.

This annual event not only celebrates our rich tradition but also fosters a sense of unity within our community. It's an excellent opportunity for everyone to connect, reminisce and create lasting memories.
