Chapel Hill, Smith County - Chapel Hill Independent School District students from Kissam Intermediate attended Dyslexia Awareness Day at Region 7 Education Service Center.
These dyslexic students had a unique chance to participate in the Dyslexia Awareness Day organized by the Region 7 in Kilgore on Wednesday, Oct. 18. This event was crafted to showcase and celebrate students' talents and gifts through engaging interactive activities.
“This day provided valuable education by inspiring and empowering our students as they connected with peers and educators who truly understood their learning needs,” said Reading Specialist and Dyslexia Coach Sabrina Dean.
