Chapel Hill, Smith County - Chapel Hill Independent School District (CHISD) is joining the global "Red for Dyslexia" campaign on Monday, Oct. 16. By wearing red, the district aims to raise awareness about dyslexia and promote understanding and support for individuals facing challenges in reading and writing.
Wearing red symbolizes the strength and resilience of those with dyslexia, sparks conversations, and fosters empathy and solidarity within the community. CHISD invites students, staff, and community members to participate in this initiative.
