Vision

The vision is to develop twenty-first century facilities that are designed for an innovative and diverse learning environment which will enrich student learning, promote the overall health of the whole child, and foster a sense of pride among our stakeholders while preparing our students to be competitive with the necessary skills and academics to invest back into the local society.

Long Range Facility Planning Committee Principles

Guiding Principles

  1. Provide flexibility and adaptability for the Academies of Chapel Hill to grow.

  2. Provide for improved safety, security, and accessibility at all CHISD facilities.

  3. Provide facilities that serve multiple purposes at all campuses.

  4. Provide equity across all facilities in CHISD.

Meetings

In 2021, Chapel Hill ISD hired Texas Association of School Boards Facilities Services (TASB) to conduct a comprehensive facility assessments and published CHISD's TASB Facility Dashboard which showed the results of the assessment.

Throughout various public meetings more than 50 LRFPC members devoted their time to review TABS’s findings. After countless hours of in-depth reviewing and discussions the committee finalized their findings and developed the Facilities Long-Range Master Plan later known as the Master Facility Plan approved by the Board.
