The full CHISD 2024 - 2025 Compensation Plan is published to the left and includes stipend increases in the following areas:       

• Beginning teacher pay starting at $51,000. 

• Teacher stipends: 

  • Stipends for Bilingual teachers $4,000

  • Secondary Math and Science teachers $3,000*

  • Secondary ELAR and SS tested subject area teachers $3,000* 

  • SPED Life Skills and ABU teachers $1,500*

  • High School Foreign Language teachers $3,000

  • Master’s Degree $1,000 for teachers

  • UIL sponsors, extra-curricular sponsors, and athletic coaching positions (varies)
