My name Is Yasmine Smith.
I graduated from a Catholic University in Brazil. Later came to Tyler Texas and received certifications from TEA as a
1st - 8th grades bilingual teacher. Later I received a Master Degree in Education From UT Tyler, Literacy Coordinator form Texas Tech University and finally a Certification of Dyslexia Interventionist from Neuhaus Academy.
I have been working in education for 30 years, and in past 5 years I have worked as a Bilingual Dyslexia Interventionist. As I instruct students I learn something new every day is what I enjoy about this job. In the end we are all learners.
