Dear WL Kissam Intermediate Families and Community,

I am beyond thrilled and honored to return as the principal of W.L. Kissam Intermediate for the 2024-2025 school year. This school holds a special place in my heart, not only because I had the privilege of teaching and leading  here, but because I have seen firsthand the incredible potential and dedication of our students, staff, and community. To return as your interim principal feels like coming home.

I truly believe that WL Kissam Intermediate is the best school in East Texas. Our students are bright, talented, and eager to learn, and our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to provide them with the best possible education. Together, we form a strong, supportive community where every student is valued, every voice is heard, and every success is celebrated.

As we continue this journey together, I am committed to ensuring that WL Kissam Intermediate remains a place where all students feel safe, supported, and inspired to achieve greatness. Together, we will continue to foster an environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
