I am overjoyed about the 2024-2025 school year. My goal is to provide high level instruction that is explicit and systematic to all of my students. I am excited to help my amazing First Graders enjoy learning, show growth in each content area, reach their full potential and to be equipped for Second Grade. I am truly blessed to be a part of our Chapel Hill family where we will grow together. This will be my 9th year in Bilingual Dual education at Jackson Elementary. I taught Second Grade Bilingual Dual for four years and am currently teaching my fifth year in First Grade Bilingual Dual. The knowledge and experience that I have gained in my Second Grade teaching years and through professional development, have helped me become a better educator for my students in First Grade. I believe that each school year is a new opportunity to continue to learn and grow to better myself for my students.
