Hi! My name is Darleen Cortes. This is my 14th year teaching at Jackson Elementary in the Dual Language program. I taught kindergarten for two years and this is my 12th year in third grade. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I am certified as a Generalist EC-6 teacher and an EC-6 Bilingual Teacher. I am excited to see all of my students grow and make connections with them.
