Mr. McGowan is the Principal at Chapel Hill High School

He graduated from Rusk High School in Rusk Texas and went on to Sam Houston State University.

Mr. McGowan has served at Lufkin ISD and Tyler ISD prior to coming to Chapel Hill ISD where he was the Assistant Principal at the Junior High before coming over to be the Assistant Principal and now the Principal over the High School.
